I thought this was interesting enough to share:
Heroes is coming back to TV. Four years after being unceremoniously cancelled, NBC revealed during its Olympic coverage that the series will return for a 13-episode miniseries run in 2015. Creator Tim Kring is already onboard, but plot details are currently slim.
Dropbox adds arbitration requirement
I thought this was interesting enough to share:
In 2011, for about four hours, Dropbox allowed any password to log into any account. For a service that stores unencrypted personal data, a bug of this scale is a major failing.

Yale censored a student’s course selection website. So I made an unblockable replacement
I thought this was interesting enough to share:
In January 2012, two Yale students named Harry Yu and Peter Xu built a replacement to Yale’s official course selection website. They it called YBB+ (Yale Bluebook Plus), a “plus” version of the Yale-owned site, called Yale Bluebook.
20 Qualities The Person You’re Going To Marry Should Have | Elite Daily
I thought this was interesting enough to share:
While we may not know who exactly we are going to marry, as fully developed, young adults, we have a pretty good idea of the qualities we’re looking for in a partner. This isn’t a little girl’s “Prince Charming” wish list.

I thought this was interesting enough to share:

I thought this was interesting enough to share:
The phrase “this match had everything” is bandied around all too often any time more than two goals go in. But we’ll forgive anyone using it to describe the Saudi Arabian top flight clash between Al Nahdha and Al Ittihad on Thursday.
Captain Justice Responds to Government’s Motion to Ban the Word “Government”
I thought this was interesting enough to share:
This excellent pleading has been making the rounds (I saw it here) over the last couple of days, but I couldn’t find a signed copy and so I haven’t posted it yet because of this ridiculous issue I have with verifying information.
Apple hides a Patriot-Act-busting “warrant canary” in its transparency report
I thought this was interesting enough to share:
The Patriot Act provides for secret warrants to spy on ISPs’ customers. These “Section 215” warrants come with gag orders that mean that the company can’t disclose their existence. This lack of transparency is ripe for abuse and is bad for ISPs’ business.
